With more than two decades of experience at the intersection of healthcare, education, and wellness, Crystal Flowers, CRNP, is a natural fit for the Ackerly McBride Group. Join us in welcoming her to the group! She brings a holistic, compassionate approach to patient care. As a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Crystal’s career has spanned clinical research, oncology, community health, and nursing education—all grounded in her deep commitment to empowering individuals and communities through knowledge and advocacy.

Crystal holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She also previously earned credentials as a Community Health Education Specialist (CHES), reflecting her long-standing dedication to preventative care and health promotion. Her professional journey includes pivotal roles at the National Institutes of Health, where she contributed to clinical research, coordinated care for oncology patients, and mentored emerging healthcare professionals. She has also served as a Nurse Educator and Clinical Simulation Lab Specialist, fostering the development of future nurses in both academic and applied settings.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, fitness, and wellness, Crystal integrates mind-body principles into every aspect of her evidence based practice. She values patient relationships that prioritize education, trust, and long-term health outcomes—approaching care with a whole-person perspective that considers not just physical health, but also emotional and social well-being.

Outside the clinic, Crystal is energized by time in nature, global travel, music festivals, and moments shared with friends and family.
